I found this task interesting because I love music and I also play guitar. It told me a lot about the music industry and how tough it is to keep up with everything as a manager or something. We also made our own single, we used an existing song and put new words into it about learning and the new buildings. We used Time of your life by Green Day and we called it Another Experience. Our team missed the deadline by a day but we completed it and it sounded pretty well with the montage. It was a interesting task and would like to explore it more deeply soon.

Today we went into a old class in the morphett building to experience lab on legs. He talked to us about chemicals and gases and stuff about the universe. We did lots of experiments to do with every thing.

I liked the most where we lit up a light bulb using paper, coins, alfoil and a solution(vinegar). We learnt how the persians used that method to conduct electricity even though they had no use for it. I learnt alot from CSIRO and hope to learn more sometime soon.

I am going to talk about Uluru and why I chose this topic for my Personal Research Project. I chose it because I have been there myself but I did not climb it because of bad weather. It is the biggest rock I have ever seen and it was very interesting and I found the Aboriginal dream time stories very, very interesting too! 35 people have died climbing it but many have been very successful. Half died from heart attacks when looking down at such a height and the other half died from plummeting off the edge and going head first into the floor. So that is why I have chosen this topic for my Personal Research Project.

Recently I have been reading Weirdest Stories by a very funny author Paul Jennings. The title sort of explains it, it is a book full of funny, weird and freaky stories. One of the most favourite stories so far in the book is Lennie Lighthouse. It is a tale about a boy with teeth that glow in the dark and how he finds his mother that also has glowing teeth. I have read lots of books by Paul Jennings and this one is one of the best. I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a laugh but also good quality stories. there is also another book witch is sort of the same but it is called Funniest Stories and I will get around to reading that soon.

This week we have been making synonym poems. To make one you must make a one word heading like “Happy”. In the first line you must come up with 4 words to do with the heading. In the second line you make a short sentence that has a last word that rhymes with the last word of the first line.

These are the synonym poems we made:

Love:

Adore, delight, crush, lust
Love is great, it is a must

Happy:

Proud, pleased, delighted, glad
Happy is the opposite of being sad.

Said:

Reply, report, announce, tell
Said is a noise just like a bell

For the last 3 days our group of 3 have been working on a puppet show about safety and what a 13 year old can be in when he is in danger. Ours is about a boy called Max that goes to the park and gets asked by 2 teenagers if he wants some drugs and max says no and runs home to call the cops. It took us a long time becuase t least one of us were away on each day. But today we gotit finished and planned out.

Hi everyone,

I am talking to you about my favourite piece of art in 2010. This is a song that wasn’t made this year but it is definitely one of my favourites. It is called Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin and I have learnt to play most of the song on guitar. It was made in 1971 and Led Zeppelin is an English band. It is sort of hard to learn but if you try hard and practise lots you can get around to learn it. My other favourite songs are East Jesus Nowhere by Green Day, Billionaire by Travie Mccoy and Bruno Mars and also Private Jet by Deejay Bola.
